  • This article presents statistics related to pregnancy. In 2004, the percentage of births delivered by cesarean section was 29.1%. The percentage increase in twin births between 1990 and 2003 was 37.1%, and the percentage increase in mothers with diabetes between 1990 and 2003 was 40%.
