  • The article discusses research into the biological life in the Sargasso Sea. Peter Wiebe, of the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, designed a filter system that allows the researchers to use a DNA sequencer to identify and sequence the genes of marine animals from 5,000 meter deep.
