Resumen de Alight touch.

Charles Q. Choi

  • The article reports that chemical engineers at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln have developed sensors that rival human touch in their ability to detect features. The lights signals can register things only 2 millimeters wide. The signal works by sending voltage through layers of gold and cadmium sulfide nanoparticles, forcing the gold to tunnel through the layers to form the image.
