This article discusses the development of a fertilizer, called Sulf-N 26, that combines ammonium sulfate with ammonium nitrate, neutralizing its explosive qualities. The effectiveness of this mixture in the fertilization of crops is under study. The projected cost of this product is greater than that of ammonium nitrate, but the declining security costs associated with it are described as an advantage.
