Resumen de Survival of the luckiest.

Charles Q. Choi

  • The article reports on research into why the dinosaurs rose to global predominance. To find out, paleontologists examined dinosaurs in the late Triassic period. At the time, dinosaurs' main competitors were crurotarsans--crocodile ancestors--which were twice as diverse as dinosaurs. Rapid climate change led to most of the crurotarsans' extinction, but for some reason the climate change did not affect the dinosaurs.
