  • The article discusses the development of glacier seismology as a field of research. The field uses seismic instruments to track short-term changes in glacial movements. The purpose of the research is also described, mentioning its focus on glacial calving and melting with a goal of expanding current knowledge about the behavior of ice when subjected to global warming.
