  • The article reports on a small lensless microscope created by California Institute of Technology professor Changhuei Yang and his team. The microscope is to be used for detecting tumor cells and parasites within blood. The author states that the microscope works by using a semiconductor chip containing sensor pixels and only costs around $10.
