The article reports an update to research regarding the triggering of nuclear fusion from water bubbles. The claim of scientist Rusi Taleyarkhan that he successfully triggered fusion in bubbles created by ultrasonic waves is discussed. The reconstruction of Taleyarkhan's experiment by scientists Kenneth Suslick and Seth Putterman is also described, noting the nonoccurence of fusion in their research.
