  • This article discusses sociological research that predicts the statistical likelihood that a death row inmate will actually be executed. This system found that levels of education predicted the likelihood of an inmate's execution more reliably than race or the severity of their crimes. These findings are discussed in depth in the Spring, 2008 "International Journal of Law and Information Technology."
