Resumen de Cuerpo, espacio y el dibujo arquitectónico

  Este artículo aborda las dos grandes vertientes de la asignatura de dibujo en la disciplina de la arquitectura: la acción y el documento. Para ello se entiende que la relación entre cuerpo y dibujo arquitectónico infiere en el mecanismo de producción e ideación espacial, considerando la corporalidad, la visualidad háptica y la inseparable relación del ser humano con el espacio. Nuestro principal objetivo es responsabilizar la acción de dibujar como herramienta esencial en el análisis espacial, tanto para su representación como para la creación de nuevos espacios en proyectos arquitectónicos. De este modo, se pretende enfatizar la importancia de la creatividad en la profesión, así como la imaginación y el papel del dibujo en este contexto. Para ello, el presente artículo incorpora la crítica teórica sobre dos ejercicios realizados en la Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Barcelona, uno en la asignatura de Representación Arquitectónica (segundo curso) y otro en Barcelona I: Caminar Barcelona (cuarto curso). Estos ejercicios se presentan como una oportunidad para que el estudiante desarrolle su capacidad de relación entre cuerpo y espacio mediante el dibujo.

  The aim of this article tackles the two main aspects developed within the subject of drawing in teaching architecture: the action and the document produced. In the first instance, the relation between body and architectural drawing infers in the mechanism of spatial production and spatial ideation, considering the corporeality, the haptic perception and the inseparable relation of humans and space. Our main objective is to hold the action of drawing as an essential tool in spatial analysis, both for its representation and for creating new architectural spaces. Hence, our experience expects to emphasize the importance of creativity in the architectural profession, as well as to enhance professionals’ imagination and the role of drawing in this context. For this purpose, the present article incorporates the theoretical critique of two practical exercises carried out in the School of Architecture of Barcelona, one in the subject of Architectural Representation (second year) and another in Barcelona I: Walking Barcelona (fourth year). These exercises are presented as an opportunity for students to develop the relation between body and space through drawing.
