Resumen de Algunes consideracions actuals sobre la posició de la llengua catalana en relació amb el dret de la Unió Europea

  L’objectiu principal de la nota és posar en relleu un seguit de dubtes sobre la legalitat de determinades normes que adopta la Unió Europea i que, de manera directa o indirecta, repercuteixen negativament en la regulació interna dels usos oficials de la llengua catalana, tot privant-la de la capacitat d’intervenció normativa de què disposava amb anterioritat a l’adopció de la norma de la Unió. La nota també apunta els tipus d’actuacions que podrien emprendre’s per fer front a aquesta situació. Al mateix temps, en el seu apartat inicial, fa un recordatori de la situació actual de la llengua catalana dintre del sistema lingüístic de la Unió, apunta les noves dificultats que els darrers anys han anat sorgint en relació amb el seu reconeixement d’oficialitat i fa un balanç crític de l’aplicació dels acords administratius en la matèria signats pel Govern espanyol i les diverses institucions i organismes de la Unió que permeten un ús oficial limitat i indirecte del català en aquestes instàncies.

  The main purpose of this note is to highlight a series of doubts concerning the legality of certain norms adopted by the European Union which, directly or indirectly, have negative repercussions on the internal regulation of the official uses of Catalan, depriving it of the capacity for regulatory intervention that it enjoyed before the EU norm was adopted. The note also points out the type of actions that might be taken to deal with this situation. At the same time, the initial section of the note recalls the current situation of the Catalan language within the language system of the EU, pointing out the new difficulties that have arisen in recent years in relation to its official recognition. It also takes stock of the application of the administrative arrangements in the matter signed by the Spanish government and the various institutions and bodies of the EU allowing limited and indirect official use of Catalan in these authorities
