    És una dada objectiva que en l’evangeli de Mateu no apareix el terme μαθητής en relació a cap dona.Amb tot, aquest article vol mostrar que es troben prou senyals de discipulatge en els personatgesfemenins. Per exemple, la sogra de Pere i la dona amb pèrdues de sang han estat mirades per Jesús,gest característic de vocació. A més, encara que no es trobin paraules de convit al seguiment deJesús, elles representen actituds crucials demanades i exigides pel Mestre. L’enteniment, actitud clauen el discipulatge mateuà, no es relaciona cap vegada amb un personatge femení. En canvi, la comprensióvivencial del missatge del Regne, sempre significada per la fe, té dues protagonistes femenines,la dona amb pèrdues de sang i la cananea. A banda, subratllem especialment el seguimentquenòtic i el servei, com a actituds fonamentals de les dones, personatges que han captat, així, l’essènciaprofunda del discipulatge, i que apareixen com a testimonis fonamentals del querigma en elsepisodis de la creu, la sepultura i la tomba buida.

    It is an objective fact that the term μαθητής nowhere used in the Gospel of Matthew of a woman. Though this is so, this article seeks to demonstrate that there are ample clues thatshow there were disciples among the female characters. For example, the mother-in-law of Peter and the woman with the flow of blood were ‘gazed upon’ by Jesus, a characteristic gesture of calling. Moreover, despite the absence of any words expressing an invitation to follow Jesus, such women display the essential attitudes that the Master requires and demands. Understanding is a key feature of discipleship according to Matthew’s Gospel, which is never expressly linked to a female character. On the other hand, the living experience of comprehension of the message of the Kingdom, always indicated by the presence of faith, is seen in two female protagonists, the women with the flow of blood and the Canaanite woman. In addition, we highlight two fundamental discipleship themes, those of self-effacement and service, which are presented as essential attitudes of the women, who thus show that they have grasped the basic essence of discipleship and who appear as crucial witnesses to the kerygma in the episodes of the cross, the burial and the empty tomb
