    L’autor de l’assaig exposa breument els continguts de les contribucions dels professors VittorioAndreo li i Eugenio Borgna, psiquiatres de fama internacional, que han tractat els temes següents:«L’humanisme de la fragilitat», el primer, i, el segon «La psiquiatria com a recerca del dolor humà».Es refereix després a la ponència de Mons. Nunci Galantino, secretari general de la CEI: « La personaen el centre», i fa una síntesis de la resta de ponències tan interessants i totes sobre el mateixtema central del simposi: «Persona, psique i societat darrera de les traces de l’humà», el qual proposauna relació entre filosofia de l’home i neurociència.

    In this essay, the author briefly sets out the content of the papers of professors Vittorio Andreoli and Eugenio Borgna, psychiatrists of international renown who dealt with the following themes: ‘The Humanism of Fragility’ (Andreoli) and ‘Psychiatry as Research into Human Pain’ (Borgna). Mention is then made of the talk of Mons. Nunci Galantino, general secretary of the Conferenza Episcopale Italiana, on ‘The Person in the Centre’, and presents a summary of the other papers, all of them most interesting and all dealing with the central theme of the symposium, namely: ‘Person, Psyche and Society. On the Trail of the Human’, which suggests a connection between human philosophy and neuroscience.
