La guerra cultural en contra de la normalización de la extrema derecha y la Teoría crítica

    Los temas que definían las agendas de investigación de la primera gene-ración de teóricos críticos que trataron de entender las amenazas de la extrema derecha han sido desplazadas. A partir de esta proposición, el autor afirma que es posible que las expresiones actuales de la Teoría crítica ya no posean las herramientas necesarias para referirse a algunas de las amenazas que representan el fortalecimiento de las derechas en las sociedades actuales; más todavía, que es posible que el silencio sobre estos fenómenos por parte de la Teoría crítica haya ayudado a que nos encontremos en una situación en la cual la presencia de posiciones de la extrema derecha se normaliza cada vez más. ¿Puede la Teoría crítica, todavía, proporcionar un arsenal a la actual guerra cultural?

    The issues that defined the research agendas of the first generation of critical theorists who tried to understand the threats of the extreme right have been displaced. From this proposition, the author affirms that it is possible that the current expressions of Critical Theory have no longer the necessary tools to refer to some of the threats that represent the strengthening of rights in the present societies; moreover, that it is possible that the silence on these phenomena by the Critical Theory has helped to find ourselves in a situation in which the presence of positions of the extreme right is normalized more and more. Can Critical Theory still provide an arsenal to the current cultural war?
