  • The article presents a heuristic overview of a theory about black holes and information. An analogy is used involving one person throwing quantum bits into a black hole and another attempting to reconstruct the information the quantum bits contained by using the Hawking radiation which the black hole emits. The question of how much time such an endeavor might take is addressed.
