Resumen de Mutants from the air.

Philip Yam

  • The article reports on a study published January 15, 2008 in the "Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences." It found the sperm of mice living downwind from steel mills and an important freeway contained 60 percent more mutations than did the sperm of mice breathing cleaner air. Because they were still viable sperm, these mutations could be inherited.
