  • This article reports on how data from a large-scale health study of workers at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft is being collected to learn about the incidence and causes of cancer in industrial workers. Investigators are examining samples of tumors, carcinogens, and substances that employees are exposed to in order to determine a connection between on-the-job exposure and cancer. The article also discusses how computers that show changes in DNA from tumors can help look for cancer triggers.
