Resumen de Fiasco at Fermilab.

Mark Alpert

  • The article reports U.S. Congress slashed funding to the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory in Batavia, Illinois, a physics research center working on the International Linear Collider (ILC) project and studying the neutrino particle. The lab had to fire 200 employees and researchers now fear the ILC will not get built in the U.S. Scientists might start abandoning other projects and look for more financially secure places to conduct their research.
