    • The article explains that due to global warming, the ice sheets of Greenland and Antarctica can potentially migrate into the sea, raising water levels globally. As global temperatures have increased, liquid water has built up below the ice sheets and could act as the lubrication that the ice sheets need to slip into the ocean.
