  • This article presents information on bowling alley pinsetting machines. Until 1946, boys were the pinsetters in bowling alleys but now machines do all the work while computing bowlers' scores. Each machine can reset 10 pins in 8 seconds and the view behind the scenes is one of machines at work. The author says most bowling alley proprietors will show off the machines if asked.
