  • The article presents a list of steps that the author suggests should be implemented through government policy in order to fight the volume of carbon emissions. He states that a tax policy should be put into place to encourage companies to invest in ways that will lower carbon emissions, developed countries should find ways to encourage emissions reduction policy in developing nations, and governments need to encourage and support programs to develop alternative energy systems.
