  • Resumen
    • Despite the common opinion, the "ind ubio pro reo" rule has not born during the XVIII century, in the era of Illuminism, but its origins can be found in the Roman law, starting from the I century. This principle, proclaimed both in the most important jurists' opinions that in the emperors' constitutions, had its most significative diffusion between the IV and the VI century, because of the influence of Catholic religion.
