  • Resumen
    • The essay deals about different shapes of sale auctions employed in Rome to transfer dominium legitimum on praeda bellica. Those kinds of auctions varied depending on their objects: whether they were war prisoners or goods carried away from the enemies. These auctions are called in the sources venditio sub corona, venditio sub hasta, bonorum sectio, venditiones fiscales. The analyses focuses chiefly on bonorum sectio - which seens to be already disappeared at the beginning of the Principate - and varies legal issues to it related. Here is pointed out that bonorum sectio was devoted only to res corporales, not indeed to law of obligations; that bonorum sector was the owner of the bulk of goods auctioned - not just a simple broker between the State and final purchasers of specific res - is also here stated.
