  • The article reports on the decision of the judge on the legal battle between Fisk University and O'Keeffe Museum in Nashville, Tennessee. The judge ruled that while Fisk had violated the terms of O'Keeffe's gift in trying to sell items from its Stieglitz Collection, the school could keep the whole collection for now. The school was given until October 6, 2008 to properly display the collections but if they fail, the collection could be turned over to O'Keeffe while the school would face fines.
