  • The article reports on the intention of the Detroit Institute of Arts (DIA) in Detroit, Michigan to resume its role in cultural life after seven-year renovation and reorganization led by director Graham Beal. It is noted that the DIA has been known for its outstanding collections and gracious architectural setting. Thus, Beal plans to renegotiate the educational philosophy of the DIA on behalf of its visitors.
