The article reports on changes to the Southeastern Center for Contemporary Art (SECCA) in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. In April 2007, due to financial difficulties, the board of directors agreed to have the state take over the center, making it part of the North Carolina Museum of Art under the control of the North Carolina Department of Cultural Resources. Information on repairs to the SECCA building and staffing changes, including the naming of Mark Leach as SECCA director, is provided.
