  • The article focuses on the former U.S. Army post in San Francisco, California called the Presidio. The facility, which is a state park in 2008, may become a contemporary art museum to be built by Donald and Doris Fisher, who founded the retail store Gap. The potential museum and its finances are described and the Fishers' art collection is also examined.
