Resumen de Generalidades sobre cáncer de testículo

  Se realiza una revisión bibliográfica a partir de un análisis histórico lógico de la información actualizada existente acerca de cáncer de testículo con el objetivo de determinar su comportamiento y características en el mundo y Cuba, contribuyendo a elevar el nivel de conocimiento, preparación, y que sirva de instrumento para mejorar la calidad del diagnóstico y control de esta enfermedad por estudiantes residentes de urología y médicos generales. Para ello se revisa la literatura existente enla Bibliotecadela Universidadde Ciencias Médicas de Guantánamo, las publicaciones seriadas de la red nacional Infomed, los recursos que ofrecela Biblioteca Virtualde Salud y las web de las distintas provincias entre otras fuentes de información.

  A literature review is made from a logical historical analysis of existing date information about testicular cancer in order to determine its behavior and characteristics in the world and Cuba, helping to raise the level of awareness, preparation and serving of tool to improve the quality of diagnosis and treatment of this pathology in resident students of urology and general practitioners. For this, the existing literature was reviewed in the Library of theUniversityofMedical Sciences Guantanamoserials of Infomed national network resources offered by the Virtual Health Library, and the websites of the various provinces among other sources of information.
