    Se confeccionaron situaciones pedagógicas que permitirán realizar estudios descriptivos y valorativos como variantes para medir el nivel de desarrollo de los niños de edad preescolar acerca de la higiene bucodental, a los fines de confeccionar un instrumento que permita, teniendo en cuenta las características de este grupo etario, diagnosticar hábitos de higiene bucal o evaluar factibilidad de una estrategia de intervención aplicada para modificar modos y estilos de vida. Se tuvo en cuenta además que son insuficientes los medios que pueden aplicarse en investigaciones de cualquier rama de la estomatología a los niños de estas edades, debiendo obviarse las encuestas y entrevistas que no permitirían captar la realidad de los infantes en el desarrollo que poseen. Resulta novedoso al aportar un instrumento útil para medir con mayor credibilidad y de manera certera el nivel de desarrollo de la higiene bucodental en los niños.

    Pedagogical situations were done to carry out descriptive and evaluative studies as variants to measure the level of development of pre-school children about oral hygiene, in order to make an instrument taking into account the characteristics of this age group, diagnose, oral hygiene habits or evaluate the feasibility of an intervention strategy applied to modify modes and lifestyles. It was also considered that the means that can be applied in research of any branch of the stomatology to the children of these ages are insufficient, and the surveys and interviews that would not allow capturing the reality of the infants in the development that they possess should be ignored. It is new in providing a useful tool to measure with more credibility and with certainty the level of development of oral hygiene in children.
