  • This essay investigates the origin of the jurisprudential school formed around the disciples of Capito, especially around Sabinus and Cassius, as well as the chronological preference among Cassiani and Sabiniani's names. The study also analyzes the origin of the second name from Masurium Sabinus or from Caelius Sabinus.
