  • The article presents information on the Robert and Arlene Kogod Courtyard, which opened on November 18, 2007 at the Smithsonian Institution. The courtyard's namesakes, described as philanthropists and art collectors, donated $25 of the $63-million dollar cost of the project. Information the design of the courtyard by Norman Foster, of Foster + Partners, and landscape designer Kathryn Gustafson is included.
