  After having presented in synthesis some changes linked to psychiatric pathology, both in terms of diagnostic categories as well as facilitating social causes, the contribution highlights some developments of the taking place of an expertise and from such developments depart to describe the characteristics of the most common psychiatric disturbances, and finally indicating, in the dynamic relation between desire and freedom, an interpretative key of the psyche under study.
