    Cada vez más y con mayor frecuencia, los menores tienen acceso a dispositivos electrónicos y telemáticos a edades más tempranas, y con ello el acceso a redes sociales y la puerta abierta a todo tipo de peligros y riesgos. Pero, ¿conocemos realmente cuál es la normativa legal en esta materia? ¿Sabemos cuáles son los nuevos ciberdelitos a los que los menores están más expuestos o cuál es la nueva regulación de los ciberdelitos que más afectan a los menores como: sexting, child grooming, sextorsión, stalking o ciberbullying? ¿Cómo pueden los padres supervisar la actividad de sus hijos menores en Internet? ¿Realmente somos conscientes de la edad mínima para que los menores puedan acceder a redes sociales? La cuestión nos plantea numerosos interrogantes: ¿A qué edad pueden los menores acceder a este tipo de redes sociales? ¿Existe algún control de verificación y autentificación de este tipo de requisito? ¿Pueden los padres acceder a las cuentas privadas de sus hijos menores? ¿Pueden los padres subir fotografías de sus hijos menores a Internet? Trataremos de resolver todos estos interrogantes y haremos un análisis crítico de la materia, destacando los nuevos desafíos jurídicos y retos legales del Derecho en materia de menores, Internet, nuevas tecnologías y redes sociales.

    More and more often, minors have access to electronic and telematic devices at an earlier age, and thus access to social networks and the door open to all kinds of and risks. But, do we really know what the legislation and the legal field in this area? Do we know which are the new cybercrimes to which the minors are most exposed or what is the new regulation the cybercrimes that most affect the minors such as: sexting, child grooming, sextorsión, stalking or cyberbullying? How can parents monitor their children's activity online? Are we really aware of the minimum age for children to access social networks? The question raises many questions: what is the legal age can minors access such social networks? Is there any verification and authentication control for this type of requirement? Can parents access their children's private accounts? Can parents upload pictures of their young children to the Internet? We will try to solve all these questions and we will make a critical analysis of the matter, highlighting the new legal challenges and legal challenges of Law in the matter of minors, Internet, new technologies and social networks.
