    Tell Chuera, in the northeast of Syria, is a big new city of the 3rd millennium, with public stone buildings, residential quarters and a developed network of roads. The site is marked by his radioconcentric planning and the number of monumental buildings that have been identified. Excavations have uncovered eight buildings until 2010, date of the cessation of archaeological excavations in Syria. Some of these official buildings were built in a new phase of development (phase ID, in 2350 bc or EB IVA), and it is not necessarily to be temples, but could be another type of administrative buildings that respond to the needs of the development of the society in the period of the city expansion.

    Tell Chuera, située au nord-est de la Syrie, est une grande ville neuve du IIIe millénaire, avec des bâtiments publics en pierre, des quartiers d’habitat et un réseau de voirie développé. Le site est marqué par sa planification radioconcentrique et le nombre de bâtiments monumentaux qui ont été dégagés. Les fouilles ont mis au jour huit bâtiments jusqu’en 2010, date d’interruption des fouilles archéologiques en Syrie. Ces bâtiments officiels, dont certains ont été construits durant une nouvelle phase de réaménagement (phase ID, 2350 av. J.-C. ou EB IVA), ne sont pas forcément tous des temples mais pourraient être d’autre type de bâtiments administratifs répondant aux besoins du développement d’une société en expansion.
