Resumen de Estudo preliminar sobre atitudes sexuais

  OBXECTIVOS: Coñecer as atitudes sexuais e as diferenzas en función da idade e o sexo.

  MATERIAL E MÉTODO: Estudo descritivo transversal realizado sobre 670 persoas de primeiro e último curso da Universidade de Vigo (Campus Ourense). A toda a poboación foille aplicado un inquérito sobre variábeis indentificativas (idade e sexo) e a Escala de Atitudes de cara á Sexualidade (FISHER, T, 1988b; Adaptación e ampliación: F. López). Os datos analízanse co SPSS/15.

  RESULTADOS: A idade media é de 21.38 anos (D.T.= 3.30). O 40.5% ten unha idade superior á media –maiores- e o 59.5% inferior ou igual -menores. O 75% é muller e o 25% é home.A puntuación media obtida na Escala de Atitudes de cara á Sexualidade é de 82.30 (D.T.= 11.88). Non encontramos diferenzas significativas en función da idade e do sexo (p > .05). CONCLUSIÓNS: Partindo de que a actitude é un dos factores determinantes da conduta, os resultados obtidos nas mesmas debemos telos en conta en calquera Programa de Educación Afectivo-Sexual que queiramos realizar.

  OBJECTIVES: To know about sexual attitudes and the differences according to age and sex.

  MATERIALS AND METHOD: A cross descriptive study on 670 students of the first and last year from Vigo University (Ourense), who answered a survey about identity variables (age and sex) and the Attitudes towards Sexuality Scale (FISHER, T, 1988b; Adapted and updated by F. López). The data were analyzed with the program SPSS/15.

  RESULTS: The average age of the student body is 21.38 years old (SD=3.30). 40.5% of the sample exceeds the average age (older), while 59.5% are the average age or younger. 75% are women and 25% men. The mean score at the Attitudes to Sexuality Scale is 82.30 (SD=11.88). We did not find significant differences according to age and sex (p<.05).

  CONCLUSIONS: Given that the attitudes are determinant factors of behaviour, this results must be taken into consideration in every Program for Affective-Sexual Education within any educative field.
