La figura del criminólogo, en España, no está tan asentada como en otros países, aunque poco a poco se hará su hueco en las diversas Instituciones. El objeto de analizar la escena del crimen por parte del criminólogo es para la realización del criminal profiling, el perfil criminológico. La principal cuestión que debemos tener en cuenta, por tanto, es que vamos a investigar un escenario del crimen, es decir, un lugar en el que ya ha ocurrido un hecho delictivo en el pasado y no un lugar de un hecho delictivo futuro. Y el objetivo es verificar el hecho, ubicarlo, evaluarlo, documentarlo y tener en cuenta las víctimas y testigos que son vinculantes para el caso.

The figure of the criminologist, in Spain, is not so seated as in other countries, therefore, gradually will be your hollow in the various institutions. Analyze the scene of the crime by the criminologist aims for the realization of the criminal profiling, criminological profile. The main issue that we must bear in mind, therefore, is that we are going to investigate a crime scene, is a place that has already happened an offence in the past and not a place of a future offence. And, the goal is to verify the fact, find it, evaluate it, document it, and take into account the victims and witnesses that are binding for the case.
