  • Resumen
    • This article presents a summary of the talk given at EUSFLAT-LFA 2011 Conference in Aix-les-Bains, France, July 18-22, 2011. In our talk we firstly discussed some historical aspects of fuzzy implications. Next, we discussed their importance in different topics. We also showed basic examples and main properties and then we described main classes of implication functions, showing different methods of generating them from other connectives used in fuzzy logic or from unary functions defined on the unit interval. In the next part we presented main characterizations and representation results and we discussed also the problem of intersections of different classes of fuzzy implications. In last part of our presentation we concentrated on the non-classical approaches to fuzzy implications.
