La creación poética en matemáticas. Aplicaciones a la enseñanza

    Los objetivos principales del artículo son dos. Primero, poner de manifiesto que la belleza y la creatividad están presentes en las matemáticas.

    Este hecho, junto a otras características comunes entre matemáticas y poesía, permiten establecer diferentes vínculos entre ambas disciplinas. El segundo objetivo es buscar poemas matemáticos con interés educativo. Se concluye que existen muchos dedicados a la educación infantil y primaria, pero son muy pocos los orientados a la secundaria, tanto en obras musicales como en textos literarios. Por esa razón se componen cinco poemas matemáticos cuya temática pertenece al currículo de la educación secundaria.

    This paper has two main objectives. First, to show that beauty and creativity are present in mathematics. Something that, together with other common characteristics shared between mathematics and poetry, allows to establish links between both disciplines. The second goal focus on mathematical poems interesting for educational purposes. It is concluded that there are many dedicated to infant and primary education, but very few intended for secondary education, both in musical works and in literary texts. To fill this gap, five mathematical poems whose subject belongs to the secondary education curriculum have been composed.
