This articles takes a closer look at the land register on the front side of the Greek-Coptic glossary to the books of Hosea and Amos, one of the earliest Christian texts in Coptic (British Museum inv. EA 10825). Prosopographical links with other documents suggest that the land register probably relates to the Oxyrhynchite nome, which is consistent with the Mesokemic dialect of the Coptic part of the glossary.
