Resumen de Los Bic de Granada y su visibilidad: el patrimonio y las tecnologías

Trabajar las ciencias sociales utilizando como fuente primaria los bienes patrimoniales es algo que se está convirtiendo en habitual debido a su enorme potencial educativo fruto, en parte, de su diversidad, versatilidad y atractivo. Por otro lado, la utilización de las Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación (TIC´s) para su visibilidad es una necesidad impuesta por la realidad del siglo XXI. En este trabajo reflexionaremos sobre el escaso uso que desde las instituciones responsables del patrimonio declarado Bien de Interés Cultural (BIC) de Granada se hace de las TIC´s y sus consecuencias en la conservación de los mismos.

Working in the Social Sciences using heritage assets has become more and more common due to the considerable education potential in terms of diversity, versatility and attraction. On the other hand, using Information and Communications Technology (ICT) to access these assets is a necessity dictated by the reality of the XXI century. In this work we will have the opportunity to think about the poor use ICT by the institutions responsible for Assets of Cultural Interest (BIC´S, in its Spanish acronym) in Granada and the consequences of their protection.
