  • Resumen
    • After a brief literature review concerning the relations between music and the visual arts on the last and present centuries, this article proposes a typology that could be useful as a conceptual tool in order to characterize those artistic productions or practices that articulate visual and sound dimensions in the creative process or the final outcome. Thus, two basic phenomena are defined, migration or convergence, and the former is disarticulated with the aim of differentiating various levels of interchange. Finally, by analyzing and considering both the creative process and the operations taking place in the subjectivity of the person who works with both arts, various case studies selected from Argentinean artists are examined, testing on them said typology.
