  • This article presents the "editio princeps" of a Mandaic lamella from the Martin Schǿyen collection. In the accompanying commentary, several Mandaic lexemes are discussed: "fissures", "desolated place" and "Abaddons", "rooster's comb", "to strike", "palm frond" , "oath", "amulet", "smiting", "paralysis", "afterbirths' and "bat".
