    La sociedad vasconavarra del Setecientos asistirá con preocupación a la proliferación de divorcios y separaciones matrimoniales, unos escándalos prestos a erosionar las bases del propio sistema. Y en su epicentro encontraremos la metamorfosis o devaluación de un bastimento moral tan importante para los siglos modernos como es el honor. A través de un litigio inédito y una fuente documental especial (correspondencia privada) observaremos sus consecuencias tanto para sus protagonistas como para el conjunto de la sociedad.

    In the Eigtheent Century, the Basque-Navarrese society assist with concern the proliferation of divorce and marital separations, those scandals are ready to erode the foundations of the system itself. And at its epicenter we find the metamorphosis or devaluation of such an important value for modern centuries, the honor. Through an unprecedented litigation and a special documentary source (private correspondence) we observe the consequences for both protagonists and for all society.
