Resumen de Leyendo la brujería: la escritura o reescritura de esta creencia en el "Malleus Maleficarum"

  En este artículo, seguiremos profundizando en el Malleus Maleficarum, tratado escrito por los inquisidores Institoris y Sprenger (continuando una investigación previa que realizaba ya una primera incursión en este texto), pues se trata de la piedra angular en la reinterpretación de la brujería a finales del siglo XV. En esta obra, tal y como demostramos en nuestro anterior trabajo, podemos hallar multitud de exempla catalogables como relatos ficcionales. Así, se corrobora que este y otros manuales pueden servir como materia prima de la cual rescatar multitud de narraciones de ficción. En esta ocasión, completaremos nuestro análisis del Martillo desde otra perspectiva: la escritura o reescritura que de la brujería como creencia y fenómeno se opera en esta obra; la creación o recreación de un gran relato construido a partir de la tradición oral, las confesiones de las víctimas y los imputados, y de los intermediarios que hacen llegar esta información a los autores.

  This article keeps on delving into the treatise entitled Malleus Maleficarum, written by the German inquisitors Institoris and Sprenger (following a previous research which developed a first foray into this text), as it is the cornerstone of the interpretation –or reinterpretation– of witchcraft in the late 15th century. As it was proved in our previous research, many exempla cataloged as fictional stories can be found in the Malleus. So, we can corroborate that this and other treaties and manuals for inquisitors can be used as raw material from which we can rescue dozens of fictional stories. On this occasion, we will complete our analysis on the ‘Hammer of the Witches’ from another perspective: the writing or rewriting of witchcraft that this book develops; the creation or recreation of a great story built from oral tradition, the confessions of the victims and those accused, and the intermediaries who gave this information to the authors
