Propuesta de prevención primaria del maltrato infantil: Modelo teórico explicativo para identificar factores histórico-bio-psico-socio-culturales

    El maltrato infantil es una problemática social y de salud pública de carácter multifactorial que, en mayor o menor medida, incluyen una amplia gama de situaciones culturales, históricas, sociales, jurídicas, económicas, políticas, psicológicas y biológicas que comprenden un complejo entramado de violencia, adicciones, enfermedades, abandono, desinterés, abusos, negligencia y pobreza. Ante tal situación, el presente trabajo pretende servir como aportación teórica en el campo de la psicología para la unificación de criterios en el campo de la prevención primaria del maltrato infantil.A manera de planteamiento hipotético, se realiza la afirmación de que el análisis teórico de los factores históricos, biológicos, psicológicos, sociales y culturales que están involucrados en el fenómeno del maltrato infantil permitirá establecer una definición integral que contemple la totalidad del problema y que facilite la elaboración de programas de prevención primaria eficaces. Como objetivo general se busca describir y analizar de manera teórica cuáles son los factores históricos, biológicos, psicológicos, sociales y culturales involucrados en el maltrato infantil describiendo también la interacción entre los mismos y generando una definición integral, para así, poder establecer la estructura que debe tener los programas de prevención primaria del maltrato infantil y elaborar a su vez, a manera de propuesta, un modelo teórico de un programa para la prevención primaria del maltrato infantil. Por otro lado, el presente trabajo es un estudio de tipo documental debido a que busca elaborar un marco teórico conceptual para formar un cuerpo de ideas sobre un objeto de estudio (Galán, 2011).Entre otras cosas se concluye que los elementos tradicionalmente utilizados como el modelo tradicional víctima-victimario con el que se ha abordado el maltrato infantil y el hecho de considerar los casos de maltrato como emergentes sólo en el ambiente familiar representan una perspectiva limitada que no permite establecer intervenciones y programas eficaces en términos de prevención primaria.

    The child maltreatment is a social and public health problem of multifactorial character that, in major or minor measure, include a wide range of cultural, historical, social, juridical, economic, political, psychological and biological situations that understand a intrincate framework of violence, addictions, diseases, abandon, disinterest, abuses, negligence and poverty. In this situation, the present work tries to serve as theoretical contribution in the field of the psychology for the unification of criteria in the field of the primary prevention of the infantile mistreatment.As a hypothetical approach, we affirm which the theoretical analysis of the historical, biological, psychological, social and cultural factors that are involved in the phenomenon of the child mistreatment will allow to establish an integral definition that contemplates the totality of the problem and that facilitates the production of effective programs of primary prevention. General objective is to describe and analyze theoretically which are the historical, biological, psychological, social and cultural factors involved in child maltreatment and to describe the interaction between them, also, to generate a comprehensive definition in order to establish the structure that should have all the primary prevention programs of child maltreatment and in turn, to develop a way to proposed a theoretical model of a program for the primary prevention of child maltreatment. On the other hand, this work is a documentary study because it seeks to develop a theoretical conceptual frame to form a body of ideas on a subject of study (Galán, 2011).Among other things it is concluded that the elements traditionally used as the traditional aggressor-victim model with which to has been addressed child abuse and the fact consider the cases of abuse as emerging only in the family environment represent a limited perspective that does not allow effective interventions and programs in terms of primary prevention.
