El professor Busquet analitza al llarg d'aquest article la diferència semàntica entre el concepte d'honor i el concepte de distinció en el marc de la societat postmoderna. A partir de diferents reflexions sociològiques contemporànies, Jordi Busquet aporta elements i criteris rigorosos per aclarir ambdós conceptes en un context cultural caracteritzat per l'ambivalència i la pèrdua de cànons.

Throughout this article, Professor Jordi Busquet analyses the semantic difference between the concept of honour and the concept of distinction in the framework of the postmodern society. From different sociological contemporary reflections, he contributes with accurate elements and criteria to clarify both concepts in a cultural context characterised by ambivalence and the loss of canons.
