In this paper, we present two Roman funerary inscriptions from Cañada del Hoyo (Cuenca), in the territory of the ancient city of Valeria. The first one is a stele mentioning Boutius, a local inhabitant belonging to the Ebura(n)cicum gentilitas. The second one is a parallelepiped coming from the mausoleum where Lucius Aemilius Terentianus was buried. Its text suggests that it was funded by two of his freedmen
