Se presenta el paleoambiente en los yacimientos de Cualventi, El Linar y Las Aguas durante el intervalo cronológico 14.000 - 20.000 BP (17.200 - 24.000 cal. BP). El clima fue frío y húmedo, sin alcanzar parámetros térmicos tan rigurosos como en otras regiones más septentrionales.
El paisaje permaneció abierto y dominado por la vegetación herbácea, con cierta presencia del estrato arbustivo y manchas forestales en las zonas más propicias. El análisis detallado de los diferentes niveles permite constatar variaciones a lo largo de este periodo.
This article describes the palaeoenvironment of the sites of Cualventi, El Linar and Las Aguas between 14,000 and 20,000 BP (17,200-24,000 cal BP). The climate was cold and humid, though temperatures were not as low as in other more northerly regions. The open landscape was dominated by herbaceous vegetation, with a certain presence of the shrub layer and forests in areas most conducive to such growth. A detailed analysis of the different layers reveals variations over the course of this period.
