    El autor describe las posiciones del Gobierno británico y de la Unión Europea con vistas a las negociaciones sobre el Brexit, que ponen de manifiesto las grandes divergencias existentes entre las dos partes. Comenta las declaraciones hechas por el Ministro español de Asuntos Exteriores, Alfonso Dastis, y la sorprendente reacción producida en el Reino Unido por la inclusión de una cláusula sobre Gibraltar en el proyecto de instrucciones del Consejo Europeo al equipo negociador de la Unión. También recoge las reflexiones del eurodiputado Esteban González Pons en relación con la inminente negociación y hace una consideración sobre las perspectivas de la misma.

    The autor describes the positions held by the British Government and by the European Union with regard to the negotiations about the Brexit, which show the great differences existing between the two parties. He makes a comment about the declarations made by the Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs, Alfonso Dastis, and about the surprising reaction in the United Kingdon to the inclusion of a clause about Gibraltar in the draft of instructions of the European Council to de negotiating team of the Union. He also notes the reflections of the euro-deputy Esteban González Pons about the inminent negotiations and offers some considerations on the perspectives of such negotiations
