Resumen de Infértiles y estériles: diferencias en disfunciones sexuales y depresión, comparando con mujeres fértiles, premenopaúsicas

  Objetivo: examinar el impacto de la infertilidad y la esterilidad en las disfunciones sexuales y la depresión en las mujeres.

  Diseño: se comparan 163 mujeres infértiles menores de 40 años, 146 mujeres estériles mayores de 40 años y 229 mujeres fértiles de 40-50 años, premenopáusicas, en disfunciones sexuales y depresión. Mediante entrevista personal, se preguntaron los datos. Nos dieron la valoración subjetiva sobre su satisfacción sexual y cumplimentaron el cuestionario del Breve Perfil de la Función Sexual de la Mujer, breve perfil de la función sexual femenina.

  Resultados: hubo no deseo sexual en 7,36%, 19,86% y 19,65%, respectivamente. No excitación en 9,81%, 21,23% y 13,97% respectivamente. Anorgasmia en 39,26%, 44,52% y 36,68% respectivamente. Dispareunia en 31,28%, 28,76% y 15,72% respectivamente. Y depresión en 28,22%, 42,46% y 34,93% respectivamente. Al comparar los tres grupos entre sí, hubo diferencias significativas: p < 0,001 en no deseo sexual, no lubricación, no excitación y depresión entre infértiles y estériles; p < 0,001 en no deseo sexual y dispareunia entre infértiles y fértiles; y p < 0,001 en no lubricación y p < 0,02 en dispareunia, entre estériles y fértiles.

  Conclusiones: hay mayor dispareunia (p < 0,001) en infértiles y (p < 0,02) en estériles que en las fértiles. En el conjunto infértiles + estériles hay mayor no lubricación (p < 0,05) y mayor dispareunia (p < 0,001) que en las fértiles. No hay diferencias significativas ni en anorgasmia ni en depresión entre los tres grupos, aunque en todos son cifras altas, oscilando entre 35-45% y 28-42% respectivamente. El grupo estériles presenta los peores resultados en no deseo sexual, no lubricación, no excitación, anorgasmia y depresión. Y en satisfacción sexual obtiene el valor más bajo; 5,52. Tener abortos previos también grava los malos resultados en satisfacción sexual, anorgasmia y depresión, tanto en infértiles como en estériles

  Objective: To examine the impact of infertility and sterility in the sexual dysfunctions and the depression in the women.

  Design: Comparison of 163 infertile women under 40 years old, 146 sterile women over 40 years old, and 229 fertile women between 40-50 years-old, premenopausal, in sexual dysfunctions and depression. By means of a personal interview we asked the facts and they gave the subjective value on their sexual satisfaction. They carried out the questionnaire Brief Profile of Female Sexual Function, brief profile of female sexual function.

  Results: There were no sexual desire in 7.36%, 19.86% and 19.65%, respectively. There were no arousal in 9.81%, 21.23% and 13.97% respectively. There were anorgasmy in 39.26%, 28.76% and 36.68% respectively. There were dyspareunia in 38.28%, 28.76% and 15.72% respectively. And there were depression in 28.22%, 42.46% and 34.93% respectively.

  In the comparison between the three groups, there were significant differences: p < 0.001 in no sexual desire, no lubrication, no arousal and depression, between infertile and sterile women; p < 0.001 in no sexual desire and dyspareunia, between infertile and fertile women; and p < 0.001 in no lubrication and p < 0.02 in dyspareunia, between sterile and fertile women.

  Conclusions: There were more dyspareunia (p < 0.001) in infertile women, and (p < 0.02) in sterile women, than in fertile women. In the ensemble infertile + sterile women, there were more no lubrication (p < 0.05) and more dyspareunia (p < 0.001), than in fertile women. No significant differences were found neither anorgasmy nor depression between the three groups, although in all there were big numbers, differing between 35-45% and 28-42% respectively. The sterile woman group presented the worst results.in no sexual desire, no lubrication, no arousal, anorgasmy and depression. In sexual satisfaction obtain the worst value; 5.52. The previous abortions burden the bad results in sexual satisfaction, in anorgasmy and depression, as much in infertile women as in sterile women
